The Talking Skull

The Talking Skull is a short two-week Halloween project that utilizes text-to-speech and speech-to-text tools to let the user communicate with the skull. If a new user passes close to the skull it attempts to start a conversation. If the user responds, the skull proceeds to ask more questions and eventually “lures” the user into massaging its brain. The user can then explore all the different storylines and conversations as they try different combinations of presses. There was a total of 16 main lines and more than 8 subsequent lines, which take up several minutes to explore.

This project was created using P5.js and Arduino.
