This was the sophomore’s year 10-week project in a team of 5. The challenge was to design and fabricate a two-wheeled robot capable of following a curved line and projecting a ball into a designated area. I have worked on implementing and tuning PID control system in Arduino, designing and fabricating the release mechanism, designing voltage booster circuit and LED/LDR circuit. Our robot competed against 12 other teams and received extra points for lightweight design and build quality, while achieving the objective.
